Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Welcome to Cardstrike.io!
Here you will find answers to the most common questions regarding our platform, account management, and our Chrome Extension.
What is Cardstrike?
Cardstrike is a Chrome extension for sales reps. It prepares you for a sales conversation in one click.
Competitive Radar: open a competitor’s website, click the Cardstrike icon and get a battlecard with what to say, a question that redirects the conversation and a concrete differentiator.
Account Radar: open a prospect’s website, click once and get a pre-call brief with a fit score, why your product helps them, discovery questions and a suggested opener.
Cardstrike is not a CRM and it does not record your calls.
How do I get started with the Cardstrike Chrome Extension?
Download and install the extension directly from the Chrome Web Store by clicking “Add to Chrome”.
Click the puzzle icon (
) in the top-right corner of your browser and pin (
) Cardstrike to your toolbar.
Fill in your company profile once: what you sell, who you sell to and what makes you different. This is what makes every battlecard and brief about your offer.
Which browsers does Cardstrike work in?
Chrome, on desktop. That is the only browser Cardstrike runs in today. It does not work in Edge, Brave, Safari or on mobile devices. Cardstrike reads websites in any language, and the battlecard or brief always comes out in English.
How can I contact support?
What is my Cardstrike Account?
Your account connects the extension with your company profile and your plan. Your company profile tells Cardstrike what you sell, who you sell to and what makes you different, so every battlecard and brief is written from your side of the conversation.
On the Beginner plan you also paste in your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key once, and Cardstrike uses it for every battlecard and brief. Your AI usage is billed to you by OpenAI at their prices, with no markup from us.
A battlecard is what you get on a competitor’s website: how to answer when that competitor comes up in your deal. A brief is what you get on a prospect’s website: whether they fit and how to open the conversation. Each plan includes its own monthly number of both, listed on our pricing page.
You pay per seat, per month, for the battlecards and briefs Cardstrike prepares for you. Beginner runs on your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. Starter adds more battlecards and briefs each month and tracking of one competitor. Pro removes the monthly limits, tracks three competitors and adds weekly change alerts and export to docs. Current prices and limits are always on our pricing page.
- Every plan is priced per seat, so each person on your team needs their own seat. If you are buying for a larger team, write to us at [email protected] before you buy and we will tell you what we can offer.
To build a battlecard or a brief, Cardstrike has to read the website you are looking at. That page is what it researches, so Chrome asks you to allow it.
Nothing is stored on our side. Cardstrike pulls the research, builds your battlecard or brief in the moment and keeps no copy of the company data afterwards. That is deliberate: we are a European team and we would rather not hold your pipeline on our servers at all.
- Refresh the page you are on and check that you are logged in to your Cardstrike account in the extension. Make sure you have the latest version from the Chrome Web Store. On the Beginner plan, also check that your OpenAI API key is pasted in and still active. If it still does not work, write to us at [email protected].
